The moratorium for new course and curriculum proposals has ended. Users are now able to start new course and curriculum proposals in Curriculog. Please note that there will be a short moratorium each summer for starting new proposals as we transition from one catalog year to another. For questions, please contact Matt Wyse, Curriculog Administrator and Faculty Governance Assistant.

Beginning Friday, July 26 at 8:00 a.m., the Software and IT-Related Request form will have a new look! To achieve a smoother review process, the platform has moved to Smartsheet. To provide a better end-user experience, a new dashboard feature has been added so you can view request status, process guidance, FAQs, and other useful resources. Learn more about how to access the dashboard and form as well as upcoming training opportunities.

The Provost tasked a committee with examining the current grace period for NineNET accounts for part-time faculty members who teach only one semester per year. After thorough review and consideration of the issues and needs, the committee recommended extending the grace period for part-time faculty to 365 days (one year). Currently, the grace period stands at 150 days, but we believe that this extension will better accommodate the unique needs of PT faculty members. The extended grace period would allow part-time faculty members to access their NineNET accounts for a full year, providing them with ample time to prepare, collaborate, and engage with systems, students, and colleagues. We believe this change will enhance their overall experience and productivity.

This change will be implemented July 23-24, 2024. For part-time faculty members currently in a grace period, the time will be extended; for part-time faculty who previously lost access within the last year, their access will be restored. Please note that this change does not affect the grace period for full-time faculty which will remain at 150 days nor does it affect onboarding requirements for new faculty or the reappointment process.
