General Education Town Hall Meetings

Dear Faculty,

The General Education Task Force would like to share its current proposal for the revised 2023 General Education curriculum. The Task Force has scheduled two Town Hall meetings to get your feedback.

  • Thursday, February 17, 2022: 4:00-5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, February 18, 2022: 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Your participation in town hall meetings last fall served as the basis for continuing work by the Task Force and additional faculty who have served on satellite working groups. The upcoming town hall meetings will provide critical input as the Task Force finishes its work on the 2023 General Education curriculum this semester.

I encourage you to take this opportunity to provide feedback to help shape this important discussion. Attendance at the town halls is open to all faculty, and there will be an additional town hall scheduled for academic advisors. Please register to attend one of the Town Halls; registrants will receive a calendar invite with Zoom link the day before the session.

If you have any questions or concerns, please send them to the Chair of the Taskforce, David Johnson, or to your Gen Ed Revision Task Force representative.
