2023-2024 Catalogs Available Online

The new 2023-2024 Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs are now available online. The newly published catalogs contain new or revised programs and courses that have reached final approval through Curriculog. Please note that the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs are each published online once per year. Curriculum proposals currently in progress and any new proposals will be effective for and appear in future catalogs.

What You Need to Know about NIH Research Engagement Award (R15) Programs

UNC Charlotte is eligible for research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that are available only to institutions with less than $6 million in annual NIH funding. The NIH has a very large budget and funds anything that affects human beings, including machine learning and AI, drug abuse, mental illness, data science, aging, suicide, etc. Please get to know the NIH if you don’t already, especially the R15, by attending a webinar offered by NIH staff.

Fulbright U.S. Scholar 2023-2024 Awards Deadline

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 400 teaching and research awards to U.S. citizens in more than 135 countries. College and university faculty and administrators can join the more than 400,000 Fulbrighters, including a robust list of UNC Charlotte Fulbright scholars, who have come away with enhanced skills, new connections, and greater mutual understanding. The application deadline is September 15. Interested parties are encouraged to learn more about these opportunities by consulting with Joel Gallegos, associate provost for international programs, UNC Charlotte’s Fulbright scholar liaison.

Division of Research Launches Ticketing/Tracking Service

The Division of Research’s new ticketing/tracking service is designed to improve transparency, provide improved support to research and research support personnel, and increase efficiency. The service is available from the main research landing page under Quick Links.
