Holly Durham

Holly Durham joined the Office of Academic Affairs as Associate Provost for Academic Budget in October 2022. In this role, she provides leadership in the division of Academic Affairs for resource planning, division-wide all-funds management of $350M, and reporting and analytics to support data-driven decisions. Holly hails from North Carolina State University where she served nearly fifteen years in Academic and Student Affairs (Assistant Vice Chancellor for Finance). Prior to that, she worked at Duke University in the Office of the Provost (Higher Education Analyst) and the Duke University Divinity School (Associate Dean for Finance and Administration).

Holly is a native North Carolinian, having grown up in Eastern North Carolina, where most of her family still resides. Prior to moving to Charlotte, she resided in the Triangle area for more than twenty years. Holly is proud to have served the UNC System as both student and employee, with degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill (BS Public Health) and East Carolina University (MBA). Outside of work, Holly enjoys volunteerism and travel. Future travel plans include exploring her new home city of Charlotte and surrounding areas. Favorite travel destinations are San Francisco and the mountains of North Carolina.
