Space Planning:
We assist academic stakeholders in planning for space needs that support their current and future program requirements.

Design & Construction Projects:
We serve as representatives for Academic Affairs, collaborating with Facilities Management (FM) – Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) on all capital projects, renovations, and informal projects involving academic and research space.

Academic Facilities Operations:
We facilitate communication with Facilities Management’s Maintenance Operations (MO), Building Environmental Services (BES), and Grounds. We also conduct regular walk-throughs of academic spaces to ensure operational concerns are addressed promptly.
If you observe damages or leaks in your space, please enter a work request with FM 311. Urgent leaks and other emergency repairs can be called in to FM 311 customer service at 704-687-1311. After hour building emergencies should be reported to Campus Police at 704-687-2200.

Academic Space Resources:
We develop and maintain academic space manuals and provide access to the Academic Classroom Manual.
