U.S. Professors of the Year

The U.S. Professors of the Year awards program celebrated outstanding instructors across the country. Sponsored by CASE and The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, it was the only national program to recognize excellence in undergraduate education to those who excel as teachers and influence the lives and careers of their students. The award was recognized as one of the most prestigious awards honoring professors in undergraduate teaching.

The U.S. Professors of the Year awards program has since been discontinued. It ran for 35 years and recognized more than 1,200 remarkable, undergraduate teachers at public and private, two- and four-year institutions nationwide.
